The furniture of Afghanistan is a rustic furniture, in cedar or in larch, originating from mountainous regions of Himalaya (valley of Swat and Nuristan).
The Chinese furniture is mostly in elm, wooden of rose or in palissandre, the most precious are lacquered.
The Tibetan furniture is characterized by its polychromie and its relief decorations (original technique called "gesso") the patterns for which are inspired by the Buddhist religion.
